Coins are the currency of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You can see how many coins you have by opening up your inventory.
How to get coins[]
- Find them in chests scattered around the world
- Find them in small piles scattered around the world

- Sell Items
- (Only after Potions Class) Earn unlimited coins by brewing and selling potions. Buy potion ingredients in stores at Diagon alley and Hogsmeade, brew potions with cauldrons, which can also be found in shops in Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade.
- (Only after Borgin and Burkes and either the Library or Gryffindor Tower are discovered, as well as the quest Alohomora having been completed) Earn thousands of Coin within minutes by buying Secrets of the Darkest Art from B&B and selling them to Hermione Granger for a profit of 25 coins per book. This process can be repeated an infinite number of times.
