Demiguise Dodge is a side quest given by Hagrid in front of Hagrid's Hut. Your task is to tame a demiguise. Petting it turns out to be very difficult as it turns invisible as you approach it. When you get close, it will disappear and reappear at another location. After a few attempts it will let you pet it by pressing F.

Hagrid: Tha's fine of yeh to ask.
As a matter of fact, there is somethin' yeh could do for me.
Yeh see, I'm lookin' after a demiguise.
Well, I shoul' be.
Lookin' after a demiguise can be tough when you can't see the bloomin' thing.
Demiguises turn invisible, yeh know.
And they can see the bloody future!
Makes them very difficult to catch.
I know he's around here, but he likes to hide from me.
Maybe you can help me find him?

Hagrid: Tha's great. Alright, yeh just need to approach him carefully when yeh spot him.
He might not trust yeh at first, but yeh'll win him over in the end.
Once yeh've got his trust jus' give him a pat on the 'ead, and he should be fine.

How to complete the quest[]
You will need to find the demiguise several times. Get close to it, let it disappear, and then find it again. After 4 attempts, it will let you pet it by pressing F. In order to find the demiguise easily, you can use a broom and fly up in the sky to look around on lowest flying speed. The exact coordinates will be shown below.
First: Near Hagrid's Hut's front door (x:351, z:355).
Second: Near Hagrid's Hut's back door (x:317, z:379).
Third: This location has changed between versions. In version 1.1, the Demiguise can be found on top of the pile of pumpkins (x=309, z=357). This version is pictured below. In versions 1.0 and earlier, it can be found far afield at (x=288, z=436).
Fourth: Slightly uphill of Hagrid's Hut's front door, near the fork in the road. (x=340, z=327).
Fifth: Just slightly downhill from Hagrid, near the pumpkins (x=320, z=361).
