You have been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. But before you can attend, you need to purchase the required supplies in Diagon Alley.
Diagon Alley is the second quest in the main storyline. After receiving your acceptance letter you now have to get to Diagon Alley to buy your school supplies. But first you need to get to London. How to get there? By a Knight bus, of course! You also get to meet your first NPC. How exciting!
Steps[]
- Search the area for a way to get to London
- Speak to the Knight Bus Conductor (Stan Shunpike)
- Enter the Leaky Cauldron
- Find an entrance to Diagon Alley
- Speak to Hagrid
Conversation[]
Stan Shunpike: Welcome to the Knight Bus! Emergency transport for the stranded witch or wizard. My name is Stan Shunpike and I will be your conductor this evening.
Stan Shunpike: Where abouts are you headin'?
Player: I'm headed to Diagon Alley. That's in London.
Stan Shunpike: Diagon Alley, that's in London' Hear that? Ha! I'll drop you off in London outside 'The Leaky Cauldron'. That's a popular wizarding pub. Entrance to Diagon Alley is in the back.
Stan Shunpike: Are you ready to go?
Player: Travel to The Leaky Cauldron.

Stan Shunpike: The Leaky Cauldron is right there behind you!
[——— Player enters the Leaky cauldron ———]
Tom: Hello there! I'm the innkeeper, Tom. How can I help you?
Player: Can you tell me how I get to Diagon Alley?
Tom: There's an entrance out back in a small, walled courtyard with a dustbin. You can get to Diagon Alley by tapping the correct brick in the wall. You can probably find someone there to help you with that.
[——— Player finds the courtyard and sees Hagrid ———]
Hagrid: Hello there! Lookin' to get into Diagon Alley?
Player: Yes I need to pick up my school supplies.
Hagrid: Ah! A new Hogwarts student? Lemme introduce meself; Rubeus Hagrid. Keeper of keys and grounds at Hogwarts.
Hagrid: Diagon Alley is right behind that wall you see. All you have to do in order to open it is tap that brick there. Perfectly easy.
Hagrid: And when you enter, you should go to Gringotts Wizarding Bank and get some of that Muggle money exchanged into our wizarding currency. Ain't no safer place, not one. Except perhaps Hogwarts. Run by goblins. Speak to Griphook, he'll help you. Well, good luck! See you at Hogwarts.

How to complete the quest[]
Turn left and follow the Privet drive. At the end of the street you will see the Knight bus. Go around and talk to Stan Shunpike. Watch cutscene and travel to London. Turn around and enter the Leaky Cauldron. Enter the main room, go around the table and then turn right. Go through a door leading outside and talk to Hagrid near a brick wall. Walk to the wall and press F when you see a yellow outline around some bricks.
