Extracurricular Learning is the 14th quest in the main storyline. Hermione sends you to Hogsmeade to put up some S.P.E.W. flyers.

- Travel to Hogsmeade Village
- Put up flyers to spread the word about Hermione Granger's cause
- Return to Hermione Granger at Hogwarts

Player:
Flitwick said that you might teach me something.
Hermione:
Oh wow! Did he really? Well I guess I could teach you a spell, but I'm a bit busy at the moment. Perhaps if you could help me I'd have time to teach you?
Player:
That'd be great!
Hermione:
Great! Maybe you have heard of my organisation, S.P.E.W? I'm trying to improve the working conditions for house-elves. You know, house-elves get a very raw deal. No payment for their work and no holidays either!
I've tried to convince other students at Hogwarts to join the cause but no one else has been very interested, and the house-elves seem to regard the whole initiative as a bit of an insult.
I was hoping the message would resonate with the residents of the nearby village Hogsmeade.
Maybe you could help me put up some flyers in Hogsmeade to spread the word?
Travel to Hogsmeade, and hang the flyers on 5 notice boards.
Player:
I'll do that.
Hermione:
Wonderful! We can meet in the library when you are done.

How to complete the quest[]
First things first. How do you find Hogsmeade? You can walk there from Greenhouses/Taining Grounds, just follow the path that goes to the right and off to the distance. Along the way you will see Hogsmeade Station. If you want to save some time, you can use Marauder's map to travel here instead of walking from the castle. Either way, just follow signs that say Hogsmeade. Once in Hogsmeade, locate 5 Notice Boards and press F when close by. That way you can put up S.P.E.W. flyers. If you need help finding Notice Boards, see Video guide (below) or Hogsmeade Notice Boards list. Then simply return to Hermione Granger at Hogwarts Library by Marauder's map.
