Conversation[]
Player: Can I help you with anything?
Arthur: Well yes. Ron tells me that you come from a family of muggles.
I bet you know all about the muggle world.
Perhaps you could do me a favour?
Player: What can I do for you?
Arthur: I am most fascinated by the world of muggles, I have to say.
Everything from letterboxes to power sockets, telephones and that silly paper money of yours.
And muggles throw away all kinds of interesting items as well!
Perhaps you could go to London for me and bring me back some of those interesting items?
Player: I can do that!
[——— After completion ———]
Arthur: Ah! Wonderful! How fascinating!
This stuff never ceases to amaze me.
Here, take this as a thanks.
Hints[]
- Once in London, follow the quest compass to the crates
How to complete the quest[]
The items can be found throughout London in the form of a crate. This quest is simple thanks to the compass that leads you from crate to crate, but is extremely time-consuming due to the distances you must travel. Since you cannot use magic or brooms on the streets of London, your options are limited, but you can use potions, so you might want to bring several Invigoration Draughts to make your travels more efficient. While the compass only leads you to the items in a certain order, it is possible to collect the items out of order. Because of this, the route (which loops back on itself) can be heavily optimized. Here is the optimized version of the route!
From the fast travel point for Big Ben, look directly behind you and walk down the street until you see two small, gray buildings a little to your right. The buildings will have a Wizard Card and a Golden Snitch if you have not collected them yet. Behind the building on the left, should be your first crate (x=2863, y=51, z=561).
From the first crate, walk back out to the street and go up the stairs to the right of the small buildings. From there, turn right and walk down the street until you come to an intersection. Turn right again, and walk down the street until you pass Big Ben. After walking for a little more, you will see an opening in the gate to the right of you that leads to some stairs. Walk down the stairs and turn left to climb some more stairs. Follow the walkway until you see the river ahead of you. Turn left and keep on following the walkway. At the end, you should see the next crate (x=2780, y=55, z=312).
Walk all the way back up the stairs and to the street. Turn right and walk towards the bridge. Right before you get onto the bridge, turn left and down the stairs, staying to your left. The crate should be to your left between the 4th and 5th lamp posts (x=2679, y=56, z=330).
After collecting the crate, walk across the bridge and to the other side of the Thames. After you cross the bridge, turn left and walk past the London Eye and to a carousel. After you pass the carousel, turn right and walk down a walkway (there should be a brick wall to your left). The next crate should be on the left of the walkway (x=2367, y=61, z=126).
After collecting the item, continue walking down the walkway until you reach a building. Turn right and continue walking until you reach an intersection. At the intersection, turn left and walk until you pass a big tree on your left. Right after the big tree and to your left, there should be a set of narrow stairs going down towards the building. At the bottom, there should be the next crate (x=2519, y=56, z=-5).
To find the next crate, walk back out the the street and turn left to keep walking down the street with the park on your right. Take the second right (the park that was on your right should be a block behind you). After you turn right, walk all the way down the building until you get to a bit of an opening and see a red/orange building with a clock tower (St. Pancras Station) in front of you. Turn left and walk down the road until there is a road to your left with lots of trees and two telephone boxes. Walk down this path staying to your left and turn left again right after the building ends and before a brick wall begins. There should be a couple green wine bottles and trash cans in this area. Walk to the other side of the area and the crate should be in front of you (x=2672, y=60, z=-175).
From here, you can fast travel to King's Cross Station to find the next crate. Enter King's Cross Station and walk to the very right hand side of the station. Walk down the station next to the train tracks, and the next crate will be down the walkway (x=2875, y=60, z=28).
Exit King's Cross Station and turn left to walk on the road with the station to your left. While walking along this street, turn right at the first street, NOT a tunnel with a ceiling. Walk down this road until you see the next crate on the left side of the street (x=2956, y= 61, z=78).
Keep walking past the crate and turn right at the 3-way intersection. Keep walking until the end of the street and then turn left. Walk along the road as it turns right, and stop when you get to a small, gray building. You will find the next crate inside of the small building (x=2833, y=60, z=177).
After finding the ten crates, return to The Burrow to speak to Arthur.
